Data protection isn't only about encryption. It's also about jurisdiction: the country where data is stored, and the country where the provider is based, decide which authorities can ask for it.

Our rule: EU only

Morinel is being founded in Spain and stores customer data only in data centres inside the European Union, spread across several countries for redundancy. Backups are kept in a second EU country. Nothing is copied outside the EU.

What that gives you

  • Your data is governed by the GDPR and Spanish data protection law
  • No exposure to foreign laws that let authorities demand data from providers
  • Simpler answers for your own customers, auditors and public tenders

Combined with zero-access encryption, it means your most sensitive content is both out of reach and under European law. Read more on our security page.
